The move, finalized on April 10, 2026, sees the company establishing PT PAYTM INDONESIA TEKNOLOGI as a wholly owned step-down subsidiary. This expansion follows previous strategic disclosures made by the company in December 2025, signaling a long-term commitment to entering the Indonesian market.

Investment Details

The incorporation of the new subsidiary was facilitated through Paytm’s existing international investment structure, specifically involving Paytm Cloud Technologies Limited and Paytm Singapore Pte. Ltd. To capitalize the new venture, the parent companies subscribed to 15,00,000 equity shares, each priced at Indonesian Rupiah 10,000.

The total capital infusion for this entry stands at Indonesian Rupiah 15 billion. In Indian currency terms, this represents a strategic investment of approximately ₹8.15 crore. This deployment of capital highlights the company’s focus on scaling its technological capabilities and market reach within the Southeast Asian region.
