The company, operating through a joint venture, was declared the successful L-1 bidder for the project, which is valued at ₹268 crore excluding GST.
Scope of Work and Timeline
The contract focuses on the design and construction of the Ged Barrage, along with essential protection works and other related activities across the Sabarmati River, situated between the Hirpura barrage and Lakroda weir in the Sabarkantha district. The project is being executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model.
In addition to the construction phase, the company is tasked with the operation and maintenance of the facility for a period of 10 years. The total timeline allocated for the completion of this project is 24 months from the start date.
