EaseMyTrip Foundation has entered into a formal agreement with the Public Works Department (PWD) of Delhi to undertake the aesthetic enhancement and maintenance of two major city flyovers. As part of its CSR initiatives, the company will focus on improving landscaping and greenery at the Mayur Vihar Phase 1 and Apsara flyovers. This partnership highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable urban development and community-focused civic transformation.
Strategic Collaboration for City Infrastructure
On April 08, 2026, EaseMyTrip Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Delhi PWD to lead beautification efforts in the national capital. The collaboration is centered on adopting and maintaining two key flyovers, Mayur Vihar Phase 1 and the Apsara Flyover. The project aims to elevate the visual appeal of these areas while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sustainable urban design.
Commitment to Sustainable Urban Spaces
Mr. Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, noted that the initiative reflects the company’s philosophy of driving community impact through tangible action. By focusing on enhanced greenery and responsible landscaping, the Foundation intends to create cleaner and more thoughtfully designed urban environments for the public.
Expanding CSR and Heritage Initiatives
This flyover project is part of a broader commitment by EaseMyTrip to environmental sustainability. The company is already actively involved in the Government of India’s Adopt a Heritage 2.0 programme. Under this national initiative, EaseMyTrip supports infrastructure and visitor experience improvements at several landmark sites, including Agra Fort, Qutub Minar, the Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho, and the Sun Temple, further extending their footprint beyond their core travel-tech operations.
