Waaree Energies Limited has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sangam Solar One Private Limited, has successfully commenced operations at its new manufacturing facility in Samakhiali-Kutch, Gujarat. The facility, which features four solar module lines with an individual capacity of 750 MW, adds a total of 3000 MW per annum to the company’s production capability as of April 6, 2026.
Boosting Solar Manufacturing Capacity
As part of its strategic expansion efforts, Waaree Energies has scaled up its domestic manufacturing footprint. The new facility in Gujarat marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth, effectively adding 3000 MW of annual solar module production capacity. The site is equipped with four high-efficiency module lines, each capable of producing 750 MW annually, positioning the company to better meet the rising demand for solar energy solutions in India.
Operational Commencement
The manufacturing unit officially began commercial operations on April 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM. This development reinforces the company’s commitment to scaling its production infrastructure to support the energy transition. By leveraging this new capacity at the Samakhiali-Kutch site, Waaree Energies continues to solidify its status as a key player in the renewable energy sector, ensuring robust supply capabilities for both domestic and potential export markets.
