Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) has achieved a historic milestone by crossing 500 MMT in total cargo volume for FY26, representing an 11% year-on-year growth. The company also reported its highest-ever monthly cargo volume in March 2026, reaching 46 MMT. This robust performance was primarily driven by strong growth in the container segment, alongside significant operational achievements at the Haifa port and the CWIT terminal.
Record-Breaking Performance in FY26
APSEZ concluded the fiscal year 2026 on a high note, successfully handling 500.8 MMT of cargo. This achievement marks a substantial 11% increase over the previous year, with container operations emerging as a key growth driver, recording an impressive 19% year-on-year surge.
Monthly Performance Milestones
The momentum remained strong through the final month of the year. In March 2026, the company handled its highest-ever monthly volume of 46 MMT, supported by a 14% YoY increase in container handling. Additionally, the Haifa port continued its positive operational trend, delivering 0.77 MMT during the month, up from 0.59 MMT in February 2026.
Terminal and Logistics Highlights
Terminal efficiency continues to reach new benchmarks, notably at CWIT, which surpassed the 1 MTEU milestone within its first year of operation. The terminal set a record by handling 134,960 TEUs in March 2026 alone. Meanwhile, the logistics segment saw mixed results, with rail volumes for the full fiscal year rising by 8% to 695,517 TEUs, despite some volatility observed in the monthly volumes during March.
