The project is designed to enhance energy security by providing reliable, daytime power supply to the agricultural sector in Madhya Pradesh.
Project Financials and Timeline
The total estimated cost for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of these solar assets is approximately ₹572 crore, inclusive of GST. The project timeline is structured into a 12-month initial execution phase, followed by a 25-year operational commitment. Ceigall has locked in a long-term tariff of ₹2.85 per unit, ensuring steady revenue generation throughout the operational life of the solar infrastructure.
Strengthening Market Position
This entry into the renewable energy sector complements Ceigall’s core expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects, such as highways, bridges, and tunnels. According to Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman & Managing Director of Ceigall India Limited, the execution of these agreements marks a significant step in the company’s growth strategy.
