Wipro Leadership Changes Announced for AI-Native Business and Global Units

Wipro has announced significant strategic leadership transitions effective April 1, 2026. Nagendra Bandaru will lead the new AI-Native Business & Platforms unit, while Kanwar Singh assumes the role of President and Managing Partner of Technology Services Global Business Lines. Additionally, the company confirms the departure of Suzanne Dann, CEO for Americas-2, who will step down on May 3, 2026, to pursue external opportunities.

Strategic Leadership Realignment

As part of its ongoing organizational evolution, Wipro has initiated a series of leadership changes designed to focus on emerging technology areas. Nagendra Bandaru, previously the President and Managing Partner of Technology Services Global Business Lines, will pivot to head the newly established AI-Native Business & Platforms unit, effective April 1, 2026. This move underscores the company’s commitment to scaling its artificial intelligence capabilities.

New Appointment in Technology Services

Succeeding Mr. Bandaru, Kanwar Singh has been appointed as the President and Managing Partner of Technology Services Global Business Lines. Mr. Singh brings over 30 years of extensive experience in large-scale IT delivery and digital transformation. Prior to his tenure at Wipro, he spent 19 years at Accenture, where he led global technology delivery and sales support for the Americas. Mr. Singh is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee.

Changes in Americas-2 Leadership

The company also announced that Suzanne Dann, the Chief Executive Officer for the Americas-2 Strategic Market Unit, will be stepping down from her role. Her departure is scheduled for the close of business on May 3, 2026. Ms. Dann is leaving to pursue professional opportunities outside of Wipro, marking the end of a 5-year tenure with the organization.
