Quarterly and Annual Sales Milestones

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has reported a landmark fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. Segment Performance and Strategic Growth

The company’s success was largely attributed to a strong SUV portfolio and the expansion of eco-friendly powertrains. Notably, CNG vehicle sales exceeded 1.7 lakh units for the year, representing a 24% year-on-year growth. The electric vehicle division also saw a historic performance, with annual EV sales crossing the 92,000 unit mark, reflecting a 43% year-on-year surge. Quarterly EV sales reached approximately 27,000 units, a 69% increase over Q4 FY25.

Product Portfolio and Future Outlook

The Nexon and Punch models solidified their market presence, emerging as the highest-selling SUVs during the second half of the fiscal year. Furthermore, recent strategic product launches, including the Sierra, the refreshed Punch, and the petrol versions of the Harrier and Safari, have contributed to sustained customer demand. Looking ahead, the company aims to leverage its multi-powertrain strategy and a robust pipeline of new products to maintain this momentum and continue its industry-beating performance in FY27.
