The re-appointment is sanctioned for a full period of three (3) years. This term is set to commence on June 23, 2026. It is important to note that this re-appointment remains contingent upon the final approval of the Bank’s shareholders, which must be secured either at the forthcoming General Meeting or within 3 months of the announcement, whichever occurs sooner.

Profile and Experience of Mr. Dugar

Mr. Harsh Dugar (DIN: 00832748) has been actively serving as an Executive Director of Federal Bank since 2023. Prior to this role, he brought a distinguished 20-year career in corporate banking, primarily with HDFC Bank, where he developed expertise across various banking verticals and geographies. Academically, Mr. Dugar is highly accomplished, holding a bachelor’s degree with Honors in Accounting & Finance from the University of Calcutta, where he was the University Topper. Furthermore, he is a qualified CWA (securing an All-India Rank and a gold medal) and also holds a gold medal in CFA(ICFAI). In the initial stages of his career, he also engaged with academia as a part-time faculty member at ICFAI Business School, Kolkata.
