On March 30, 2026, Premier Energies Limited announced the commissioning of its new, highly advanced 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility located at Seetharampur, Telangana. Trial production has already commenced at this facility, which spans 75 acres and is projected to create approximately 2,000 local jobs, significantly boosting the regional clean energy ecosystem.
This capacity addition elevates Premier Energies’ total solar module manufacturing capability to 11.1 GW. The company emphasizes that this milestone strengthens its ability to serve both the domestic Indian market and international customers effectively.
Advanced Technology Integration
The new production line is characterized by high levels of automation, capable of producing four G12R TOPCon high-efficiency modules every 16 seconds. Key technological features include:
- AI-powered fault detection for real-time defect identification and correction, ensuring consistent quality.
- Integration of TOPCon technology combined with Zero Busbar architecture.
- Delivery of modules featuring higher energy yield, reduced optical losses, and improved durability.
