Punjab National Bank (PNB) announced an immediate change in its Statutory Central Auditors (SCAs) team for the Financial Year 2025-26, effective March 25, 2026. Following directives from the RBI, M/s PSD & Associates has ceased to be part of the auditing panel. The remaining four CA firms will continue their engagement, with two firms entering their third year and two firms entering their second year of service with the bank.
PNB Announces SCA Team Adjustment for FY 2025-26
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has formally communicated an immediate change regarding its panel of Statutory Central Auditors (SCAs) for the upcoming Financial Year 2025-26. This decision was made pursuant to communication received from the Reserve Bank of India dated March 25, 2026.
Cessation of Engagement
Effective immediately, the auditing firm M/s PSD & Associates, Chartered Accountants, has ceased to be a part of the team serving as the Statutory Central Auditors for PNB. The date of this cessation is officially recorded as March 25, 2026.
Continuing Auditors for FY 2025-26
The announcement confirmed that the following four firms will continue to serve as the SCAs for PNB for the Financial Year 2025-26, maintaining the established rotation structure:
- M/s Ummed Jain & Co., Mumbai: Entering their 3rd year of tenure.
- M/s N K Bhargava & Co., Delhi: Entering their 3rd year of tenure.
- M/s Prem Gupta & Co., Delhi: Entering their 2nd year of tenure.
- M/s PA & Associates, Odisha: Entering their 2nd year of tenure.
The bank has taken the necessary steps to comply with all relevant listing regulations concerning the disclosure of this significant change in the composition of its key audit team.
