Ola Electric Expands ‘Ola Insiders’ Upgrade Program to Over 150 Cities Following Strong Initial Traction

Ola Electric has significantly expanded its ‘Ola Insiders’ Upgrade Program to cover over 150 cities, enabling 80% of its customer base to upgrade. Following an overwhelming response where over 50,000 customers showed interest, the program allows existing Gen 1 and Gen 2 owners to move to the latest Gen 3 S1 portfolio and Roadster motorcycles with attractive benefits, including discounts up to ₹50,000.

Ola Electric Expands Upgrade Program Reach

Ola Electric announced on March 25, 2026, that it is aggressively expanding its recently launched ‘Ola Insiders’ Upgrade Program across India. The expansion now covers over 150 cities, a move designed to facilitate seamless upgrades for 80% of its existing customers nationwide.

This initiative is built upon significant initial success, with over 50,000 customers expressing strong interest within just a few days of the program’s launch. The program targets existing Gen 1 and Gen 2 customers, offering them attractive benefits to transition to the newer Gen 3 S1 portfolio and Roadster motorcycles.

Core Benefits for Ola Insiders Community

The Ola Insiders community initiative is structured around three core value propositions for existing vehicle owners:

  • Upgrade: Gen 1 and Gen 2 customers can receive benefits of up to ₹50,000 when upgrading to the latest Gen 3 S1 portfolio and Roadster motorcycles, including variants featuring the 4680 Bharat Cell.
  • Add-on: Existing customers can unlock benefits worth up to ₹20,000 (including cashback and MoveOS upgrades) when purchasing an additional Ola vehicle under the same registered name.
  • Referrals: Customers earn up to ₹5,000 in Ola credits upon successful delivery of a referral. The referred buyer also benefits from a ₹1,000 cashback.

Current Vehicle Portfolio and Pricing

Ola Electric’s current offerings feature an expansive portfolio of electric scooters and motorcycles. The pricing for the premium S1 Gen 3 portfolio (S1 Pro+ in 5.2kWh and 4kWh, and S1 Pro in 4kWh and 3kWh configurations) ranges from ₹1,77,838 down to ₹1,12,499.

The mass market Gen 3 S1 X+ and S1 X models are competitively priced, starting from ₹84,999 up to ₹1,07,499 for the various kWh configurations.

For motorcycles, the Roadster X+ (4.5kWh and 9.1kWh) is priced between ₹1,09,999 and ₹1,89,999. The standard Roadster X is available in 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh configurations, starting at ₹79,999.
