Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) has executed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (MESA) Holding Limited. This JV will operate under Motherson’s Logistics Solution Division to deliver world-class, integrated third-party and fourth-party logistics solutions to the automotive industry globally, excluding Japan. The partnership aims to enhance supply chain stability, resilience, and sustainability targets for both companies.

Motherson Establishes Strategic Logistics Joint Venture

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL), a global Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly and Logistics (D.E.M.A.L.) specialist, announced on March 25, 2026, that it has formed a strategic joint venture (JV) with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics (MESA) Holding Limited (“Hellmann”). Hellmann is noted as one of the largest family-owned international logistics providers.

The newly formed JV company will be incorporated in Dubai and is specifically tailored to provide integrated supply chain solutions for the global automotive industry, leveraging the strengths of both parent organizations.

Objectives and Capabilities of the Partnership

The primary goal of the JV is to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable logistics solutions addressing the automotive industry’s evolving needs. By merging Hellmann’s global network and technological capabilities with Motherson’s deep automotive supply chain expertise, the partnership anticipates providing access to more than 30,000 global suppliers and established OEM relationships.

The objectives of the JVA include:

  • Providing world-class supply chain solutions.
  • Bringing resilience and stability to the supply chain.
  • Offering integrated third-party and fourth-party logistics services globally (with the exception of Japan).

Both companies emphasized their shared commitment to achieving carbon net-zero targets by utilizing their combined expertise and technologies to support industry-wide sustainability initiatives.
