Resolution of Legal Matter

J.K. Cement Limited is issuing a continuance disclosure concerning an earlier notice received by its subsidiary, J. K. Cement Saifco Private Limited (Saifco). The initial notice, dated March 09, 2026, was issued by the Deputy Controller Legal Metrology Department (Enforcement) for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, pertaining to the Legal Metrology Act, 2009.

Compounding of Offense Confirmed

Saifco formally applied to the Department for the compounding of the alleged offense. The Department subsequently passed an order accepting the application. This action resulted in the compounding of the offense upon the payment of a fee totaling Rs. 1,00,000/-. The company received official confirmation of this order on March 18, 2026.

Financial and Operational Assessment

As detailed in the accompanying Annexure-A, the specific violation alleged was not quantifiable in monetary terms (listed as N.A.). Furthermore, the management has assessed that the compounding of this matter has no material financial impact on the overall operations or financial standing of J.K. Cement Limited.
