Following an earlier notification on March 15, 2026, concerning the refusal of renewal, the company confirms it has submitted fresh applications to the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB). Operations at the plant remain unimpacted while these applications are currently under process.
Status Update on Operational Clearances
Gillette India Limited issued an update concerning its manufacturing facility located in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, on March 18, 2026. This follows a prior intimation on March 15, 2026, regarding the initial refusal for the renewal of the Consent to Operate (CTO) and the authorization required under Hazardous Waste (Management and Transboundary) Rules, 2016.
Fresh Applications Submitted
The company has formally engaged with the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB). In discussions with the Board, Gillette India has submitted fresh applications seeking the renewal of both the CTO and the necessary authorization under the HWM Rules. These applications are presently under processing by the relevant authorities.
Continuity of Operations
Crucially, Gillette India confirms that, in the interim period while the applications are being processed, there has been no impact on the ongoing operations being conducted at the Bhiwadi plant. The filing was authorized by Ghanashyam Hegde, Authorized Signatory for Gillette India Limited.
