Term and Tenure Details
The appointment of Shri Krishna Kumar Thakur (DIN: 10172666) is effective for a fixed duration of five years. This term commences from the date he officially assumes charge of the post, or until superseded by further directives, whichever occurs first.
Furthermore, the company noted that the existing arrangement, initially communicated on March 20, 2023, remains in place. This means the existing CMD, Functional Directors, and Government Directors of the parent NMDC Limited will continue to serve concurrently on the Board of NMDC Steel Limited on a co-terminus basis until superseded.
Confirmation of Role at NMDC Steel
Consequently, Shri Krishna Kumar Thakur will assume the role of Director (Personnel) on the Board of NMDC Steel Limited, effective upon assumption of charge as per the March 17, 2026 Order.
