Bajaj Finance Limited has officially confirmed a change in its management structure concerning the Debt Management Services (DMS) vertical. Mr. Tushar Deb, currently Executive Vice President – DMS, has been designated and classified as Senior Management Personnel of the Company. This important classification will take effect from April 1, 2026.
Profile and Leadership Transition
Mr. Deb brings substantial industry knowledge to his expanded role, possessing over 25.5 years of experience across credit cards, consumer finance, personal loans, and retail lending at various leading multinational banks. He holds deep expertise in Consumer, Rural, Compliance, and Centre of Excellence (COE) functions within DMS.
Impact on Debt Management
In his new capacity, Mr. Deb will be responsible for heading the entire Debt Management function. This encompasses managing B2B, B2C, and retail loan portfolios across both urban and rural markets. His mandate includes oversight of compliance, audit, COE, and overall strategy for the function.
Previous Contributions
Prior to this designation, Mr. Deb successfully headed the DMS COE, where he managed enterprise-wide capabilities covering BI & analytics, IT, vendor management, training, and data quality. He was also instrumental in the growth of the co-branded credit card business and the development of pan-India Debt management infrastructure.
Educational Background
Mr. Deb holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Gujarat University and completed a Post graduate Executive Certificate in General Management from IIM Raipur. He is recognized for his capabilities in building scalable operations and strong governance frameworks.
