Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) has confirmed the oral pronouncement of an order by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Allahabad Bench, on March 17, 2026. The order officially approves the resolution plan submitted by AEL for Jaiprakash Associates Limited (“Corporate Debtor”). This follows the initial Letter of Intent issued in November 2025. NCLT Approves Resolution Plan for Jaiprakash Associates

Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) today announced a significant development concerning the corporate insolvency resolution process of Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL). The Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Allahabad Bench, has orally pronounced an order approving the resolution plan submitted by AEL.

This critical decision was pronounced on March 17, 2026. The approved resolution plan was initially submitted by AEL on October 14, 2025, and subsequently clarified via email on November 5, 2025.

Background to the Acquisition

This formal approval follows an earlier intimation made on November 19, 2025, when AEL was identified as the successful resolution applicant for the Corporate Debtor, Jaiprakash Associates Limited.

The company noted that this disclosure is based solely on the oral pronouncement by the NCLT. A detailed, comprehensive disclosure will be furnished once the official written order becomes available, ensuring compliance with all applicable listing regulations.

Implementation of the Resolution Plan

The implementation of the resolution plan, or any portion thereof, is expected to be carried out by AEL, its promoters, promoter group, and other associated entities. These implementing parties are identified generally as the Adani group, which includes entities such as Adani Power Limited, Adani Infra (India) Limited, and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited.

Implementation may occur directly through these parties or via any designated special purpose vehicle (SPV) established or held by any Adani Entity, in strict accordance with the terms detailed within the approved resolution plan.
