Ather Energy Expands Service Footprint to 500 Centres

On March 17, 2026, Ather Energy Limited announced a major operational milestone: the expansion of its authorized service network to 500 centres across India. This significant growth, achieved in tandem with its expanding retail footprint, reinforces the company’s dedication to ensuring comprehensive service support in every city where its electric scooters are sold.

In FY26, Ather Energy nearly doubled its service network, growing from 277 to 500 service centres. This rapid scaling reflects the increasing customer base and the critical need for reliable after-sales support as the company grows.

Focus on Service Quality and Efficiency

The company continues to invest heavily in improving service quality and efficiency. Ather’s Gold Service Centres are equipped with modern lounges and advanced service equipment to enhance transparency. Furthermore, the ExpressCare initiative offers a 60-minute periodic maintenance service, currently available at 82 centres, allowing riders quick turnaround times.

Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, stated that building service capacity alongside sales is crucial, ensuring that riders have access to trained technicians and consistent service quality.

Future Scaling and Ecosystem Strength

This service network expansion complements Ather’s retail scaling plans. The company intends to scale to 700 Experience Centres by FY26. As of December 31, 2025, Ather already operated 600 Experience Centres, supporting sales of its 450 performance line and the Rizta family scooter.

Alongside service growth, Ather is strengthening the broader EV ecosystem via the Ather Grid. As of December 31, 2025, the company’s fast-charging network includes over 4,357 fast-charging points and neighbourhood chargers globally.
