Oil India Limited Change in Government Nominee Director Appointment

Oil India Limited announced a change in its Government Nominee Director, effective March 9, 2026. The newly nominated individual is Shri Bhupinder Kumar, who currently serves as a Director within the MoP&NG. This appointment is effective as of March 9, 2026.

Transition of Roles

Shri Bhupinder Kumar is taking the position previously held by Shri Rohit Mathur, who served as Joint Secretary in the MoP&NG. The company confirms that Shri Rohit Mathur ceased to be a Director of Oil India Limited with immediate effect following the approval communicated by the Ministry.

Future Induction Process

Oil India Limited stated that the Board will proceed with the formal induction of Shri Bhupinder Kumar as the Government Nominee Director in the near future. This induction process will adhere strictly to the applicable provisions outlined in the Companies Act, 2013, and relevant corporate regulations. Further necessary disclosures regarding his formal entry into the Board will be provided subsequent to this induction.
