Battery Storage Project Milestone Achieved
ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has successfully commissioned the initial segment of its significant Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) initiative located in Rajasthan. This announcement was made via a formal communication dated March 06, 2026.
Capacity Details and Location
The first phase now operational contributes 33.335 MW of power capacity and 160.48 MWh of energy storage capacity. This initial capacity is part of the larger project slated to reach a total of 300 MW/1400 MWh. The BESS facility is strategically situated across the villages of Badi Sid, Tehsil-Bap, in the districts of Phalodi and Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Commercial Operation Date
The official Commercial Operation Date (COD) for this successfully commissioned Phase-I component has been confirmed to commence on March 08, 2026. The project is being developed through ASHL’s wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Sun Power Private Limited.
