Allied Blenders and Distillers announced significant changes to its Senior Management Personnel (SMP). Mr. Uday Rao has been appointed as the new Marketing Director, effective March 4, 2026. Concurrently, the company accepted the resignation of the previous Marketing Director, Ms. Roshni Chatterjee, whose last working day will be March 13, 2026. The appointment follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited disclosed key movements within its senior management team, effective March 4, 2026, following approvals by the Board of Directors based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Appointment of New Marketing Director
The company appointed Mr. Uday Rao as the new Marketing Director, who has also been designated as a Senior Management Personnel (SMP). The appointment is effective from March 4, 2026.
Profile of Mr. Uday Rao
Mr. Rao is described as an accomplished marketing and commercial leader possessing over 25+ years of experience across diverse sectors including alcobev, consumer, telecom, insurance, and healthcare. His previous employers include major organizations such as Pernod Ricard India, Tilaknagar Industries, Vodafone, and Metlife Insurance Ltd. As Marketing Director at ABDL, he will be responsible for driving the performance of established brands and overseeing new product development across prestige, semi-premium, and premium categories.
It was confirmed that Mr. Uday Rao is not inter-se related to any existing Director or Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the Company.
Resignation of Previous Director
The company also announced the resignation of Ms. Roshni Chatterjee from her roles as Marketing Director and SMP of the Company. Her resignation, submitted due to personal reasons, will be effective from the Close of Business hours on March 13, 2026.
Ms. Chatterjee’s letter of resignation, dated January 23, 2026, expressed thanks for the opportunities provided during her tenure.
