The acquisition was finalized via an e-auction conducted by the West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (WBHIDCO).
The site is situated off the EM Bypass in Kolkata, described as a highly desirable and upmarket residential locality. The estimated revenue potential from the ensuing premium residential development is pegged at approximately INR 1,650 crore, based on current business assumptions.

The EM Bypass corridor is highlighted as one of Kolkata’s most well-connected and fast-growing urban stretches. The area boasts strong physical and social infrastructure, offering seamless access to major neighborhoods such as Salt Lake, New Town, Park Circus, Gariahat, and Garia.
Connectivity is further boosted by multiple flyovers, arterial connectors, and proximity to the under-construction Garia-Airport metro line. This location solidifies the area as one of Kolkata’s most desirable and future-ready micro markets.
