Monthly Production and Sales (February 2026 vs. February 2025)
The total Iron Ore output for February 2026 stood at 5.35 Million Tonnes (MT), an increase from the 4.62 MT reported in February 2025. Similarly, total sales for the month rose to 4.60 MT in February 2026, up from 3.98 MT the previous year.
Sector-wise breakdown for the month of February 2026 was:
- Chhattisgarh: Production of 4.04 MT (vs 3.37 MT in Feb 2025) and Sales of 3.08 MT (vs 2.79 MT in Feb 2025).
- Karnataka: Production of 1.31 MT (vs 1.25 MT in Feb 2025) and Sales of 1.52 MT (vs 1.19 MT in Feb 2025).
Cumulative Performance for FY 2025-26 (Up to February 2026)
The cumulative figures for the fiscal year leading up to the end of February 2026 demonstrate significant growth compared to the corresponding period in FY 2024-25. Total cumulative production has reached 47.79 MT, compared to 40.49 MT previously.
Cumulative sales figures show a robust performance, totaling 44.34 MT up to February 2026, against 40.20 MT recorded by the end of February 2025.
