Escorts Kubota Limited released its sales announcement for February 2026, indicating substantial growth across its primary business segments. The overall sales figures underscore a continued positive momentum in the agricultural and construction sectors, reflecting successful market positioning.

Tractor Volume Growth Detail

The Agri Machinery Business reported selling a total of 10,339 tractors in February 2026, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 20.4% compared to 8,590 units sold in February 2025.

Domestic vs. Export Tractors (February 2026)

  • Domestic tractor sales were 9,725 units, achieving a growth of 22.1% over the previous year (7,968 units). This performance was attributed to positive rural sentiment, heightened farm activity, and favorable government policies, including GST reduction.
  • Export tractor sales stood at 614 units, a slight decrease of -1.3% against 622 units in February 2025.

Construction Equipment Segment Growth

The Construction Equipment Business Division also demonstrated positive results for the month. Escorts Kubota sold 588 machines in February 2026, representing a growth of 4.8% over the 561 machines sold in February 2025. The management anticipates this upward trend to be sustained by recent project awards and anticipated growth in government spending.

The cumulative sales performance for the first 11 months of the financial year (FY26) shows strong cumulative gains:

Tractor Segment (11 Months)

Total tractor sales reached 1,21,551 units in the April–February period of FY26, showing a cumulative increase of 16.7% compared to 1,04,180 units in the corresponding period last year. Domestic sales grew by 15.7%.

Construction Equipment Segment (11 Months)

The Construction Equipment division recorded cumulative sales of 5,870 units for the 11-month period, resulting in a decrease of -14.3% year-over-year.
