The total sales volume for the month was composed of 164,130 units in domestic sales, 10,710 units sold to OEM partners, and 39,155 units exported overseas.
Domestic Segment Highlights
Total Domestic Sales (PV+LCV+OEM) for February 2026 reached 174,840 units, slightly exceeding the 174,379 units recorded in February 2025. The Passenger Vehicle (PV) segment demonstrated slight growth, achieving 161,000 units versus 160,791 units the previous year. Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales, primarily Super Carry, increased to 3,130 units.
Passenger Car Breakdown
Within the passenger car categories, the Mini + Compact Segment saw a slight dip month-over-month in February, selling 76,624 units compared to 83,168 units previously. However, the crucial Utility Vehicles segment demonstrated significant strength, selling 72,756 units in February 2026, up substantially from 65,033 units in February 2025. The Mid-Size segment (Ciaz) reported zero units in the current month’s domestic sales table, likely due to data consolidation or discontinuation/inventory management for that specific model line.
Year-to-Date (April-February) Performance
Looking at the cumulative figures for the fiscal year through February 2026 (FY 2025-26), total sales stand at 2,197,462 units, an improvement over the 2,041,282 units recorded in the corresponding period last year (FY 2024-25). Export figures for the year-to-date period showed substantial growth, reaching 400,734 units compared to 299,617 units previously.
