The core of this contract involves the supply of advanced pump packages tailored for high-capacity thermal power projects. Specifically, KBL will provide Circulating Water Pumps utilizing advanced Concrete Volute pump technology, alongside necessary Auxiliary Cooling Water Pumps. The complete scope also encompasses associated electrical and control systems.

This prestigious order mandates the supply of pump packages for thermal power facilities located across multiple Indian states, specifically mentioned as Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar.

Financial Terms and Execution Timeline

The execution of this contract is structured over a determined period, estimated to take Within 18 to 24 months from the date of the Purchase Order. Payment modalities are phased: initial payment occurs within 30 days after receipt of Goods at the Delivery Point, with the remaining balance settled against the successful erection, commissioning, and testing of the equipment.

Furthermore, the contract includes a Defect Liability Period of 12 months commencing from the date of commissioning, ensuring long-term reliability for the client.

Compliance Confirmation

KBL confirmed that the entity awarding the order—Adani Power Limited and its subsidiaries (including Anuppur Thermal Energy (MP) Pvt. Ltd. and Korba Power Limited)—are Domestic entities. The company also verified that the promoter, promoter group, or group companies have No interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does Not fall within the scope of related party transactions.
