NBCC (India) Limited Secures Orders Worth ₹775.27 Crore for DDA Staff Quarters Redevelopment

NBCC (India) Limited has been awarded two significant contracts by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for the comprehensive redevelopment of staff quarters in Old Rajinder Nagar and Safdarjung Development Area. The combined approximate value of these orders is ₹775.27 Crore (excluding GST). Both projects will follow a self-sustainable model utilizing the sale of a portion of the built-up area to fund the development.

Major Project Awards Announced by NBCC

NBCC (India) Limited announced on February 26th, 2026, that it has secured new work orders in the ordinary course of its business, amounting to approximately Rs. 775.27 Crore (exclusive of GST). These contracts involve the comprehensive redevelopment of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Staff Quarters.

Project Breakdown and Value

The total contract value is derived from two distinct projects, both awarded by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), confirming the company’s strength in domestic Project Management Consultancy:

  • Project 1: Comprehensive Redevelopment of DDA Staff Quarters at Old Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi. Approximate Value: Rs. 437.79 Crore.
  • Project 2: Comprehensive Redevelopment of DDA Staff Quarters at Safdarjung Development Area, New Delhi. Approximate Value: Rs. 337.48 Crore.

The total combined approximate value is exactly Rs. 775.27 Crore. Note that this value excludes any marketing fee, which is to be determined later.

Project Brief: Self-Sustainable Model

The projects aim to redevelop old and dilapidated staff quarters. Both mandates involve an MoU inked between DDA and NBCC for a self-sustainable model. Under this structure, a certain portion of the developed Built-Up Area (BUA) will be sold to generate funds, which will then be utilized for the development works. The remaining BUA will be handed over to DDA for staff use.

Envisaged Development Area

The envisaged total BUA to be developed across both locations is substantial:

  • Old Rajinder Nagar: Around 99,635 SQM (excluding external development). Currently houses 117 nos. dwelling units.
  • Safdarjung Development Area (SDA): Approximately 65,925 SQM (excluding external development). Currently houses 152 nos. dwelling units.

The nature of the orders falls under Project Management Consultancy and they are classified as Domestic awards.
