MSTC Secures Key Contract with Coal India

MSTC Limited has announced that it has become the L1 bidder for a crucial tender released by Coal India Limited. The contract, announced on February 26, 2026, was hosted on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal.

Contract Details and Scope

The primary objective of the contract is the Appointment of External Service Provider responsible for conducting Linkage Auction for the Non-Regulated sector (NRS). The scope of work involves providing the whole gamut of associated services for the NRS Linkage auction, starting from the initial conducting of the auction through to the final execution of the agreement, utilizing the MSTC platform.

Key Terms of the Awarded Contract:

  • Awarding Entity: Coal India Limited (A Domestic entity).
  • Duration: The agreement is set to remain valid for a period of three years.
  • Consideration: The broad consideration or size of the order/contract could not be quantified at this initial stage.
