State Bank of India: Sells 13.18% Stake in YES Bank to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation

State Bank of India (SBI) has divested a 13.18% stake in YES Bank Limited, equivalent to 413,44,04,897 equity shares. This sale was executed via an off-market transfer to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Following this transaction, SBI’s holding in YES Bank now stands at 10.78% of the equity share capital. The transaction was completed on September 17, 2025.

The shares were sold to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation via an off-market transfer completed on September 17, 2025.

Revised Shareholding

Following the sale, SBI’s holding in YES Bank has decreased from 23.96% to 10.78%. The remaining shares held by SBI amount to 338,22,61,103 equity shares.
