High Court Intervention and Stay Order

The Company Statement, attached as Annexure-A, confirms significant legal development in the matter. The Hon’ble High Court of Bombay at Goa has issued a stay on the warrant that was previously ordered by the District Consumer Commission, South Goa.

Crucially, the High Court further observed that the Consumer Commission had exceeded its jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act when it decided to issue the warrant in the first place. Ola Electric formally requests that this factual and legal position regarding the stay and jurisdictional overreach be taken on record.
