LTM Collaborates on AI in Cinema Initiative

LTIMindtree (LTM), under the aegis of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, has partnered with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and Waves Bazaar to host the AI Cinema Showcase. This event is a key component of the upcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to take place in New Delhi from February 16 to 20, 2026.

The collaboration, involving LTM BlueVerse CraftStudio and Waves Bazaar, seeks to pioneer a platform exploring the meeting point between cinema and cutting-edge technologies.

Showcase Objectives and Content

The AI Cinema Showcase is specifically designed to feature a curated collection of short films created exclusively by Indian filmmakers, including individuals, collectives, studios, and students. The primary goal is to spotlight creators who are engaging with Artificial Intelligence as a meaningful, ethical, and responsible tool for creative storytelling.

The showcased films will be assessed on narrative strength, creative intent, cinematic quality, and responsible AI usage. Selected works will be screened at the Immersive Room AI Theatre located within the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting pavilion.
