Quarterly Performance Highlights (Q1 FY26)

Siemens Energy India Limited reported strong financial performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. Key figures indicate significant growth across top and bottom lines:

  • Revenue from Operations increased by 26.0% to INR 1,911 crore (up from INR 1,517 crore in Q1 FY25).
  • Profit from Operations saw a 36.2% jump to INR 429 crore, resulting in a margin of 22.4%.
  • Profit After Tax rose substantially by 34.9% to INR 313 crore.
  • Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the quarter stood at INR 8.79.
  • The total order backlog increased by 37.6% to reach INR 17,599 crore.

The company noted that Q1 FY26 operating margin, excluding forex and commodity gains, was 18.8%. A one-off cost of INR 52 crore related to the implementation of the New Labour Codes impacted the Profit After Tax figure.

Major Capital Expenditure Approval

The Board of Directors announced a significant strategic investment totaling approximately INR 2,060 crore for the expansion of large power transformer capacity. This investment aims to add approximately 30,000 MVA to the existing capacity.

  • Investment Required: Around Rs. 2,060 crore.
  • Financing Mode: Internal accruals.
  • Timeline: The new capacity is tentatively scheduled to be added between FY 2030 to FY 2032.
  • Rationale: This expansion is driven by the high and increasing global and domestic demand for large power transformers resulting from the energy transition and electrification trends, aligning with the ‘Make in India’ strategy.

Segment Performance Overview

Revenue contribution remains concentrated in the Power Transmission and Power Generation segments:

  • Power Transmission Revenue: INR 11,237 million for the quarter.
  • Power Generation Revenue: INR 7,872 million for the quarter.

The unaudited results and the proposed capacity addition decision were approved by the Board of Directors following a meeting held on February 13, 2026.
