Auditor’s Review Report and Key Notes

The Unaudited Financial Results were subjected to a Limited Review by the Statutory Auditors, N. K. Bhargava & Co., who issued an unmodified conclusion. However, the review report draws attention to several critical matters:

  • Catering License Fee Dispute (Note 3): The financial statements do not recognize the impact of enhanced License Fees related to tariff increases, as the matter is sub-judice following challenges by licensees in various High Courts.
  • Rail Neer GST ITC (Note 4): The company has not recognized receivables related to GST Input Tax Credit claims from Developer Cum Operators (DCOs) due to non-availability of complete ITC data and ongoing disputes with the DCOs.
  • Anti-Profiteering Proceedings (Note 5): Attention is drawn to the ongoing legal proceedings initiated by the National Anti-Profiteering Authority regarding alleged failure to pass on GST rate reduction benefits for Railneer water.
  • Arbitration Award (Note 6): A long-standing arbitration matter regarding welcome drinks and meal pricing was finally adjudicated by the Hon’ble Supreme Court on November 7, 2025, in favor of IRCTC, resulting in no further financial impact.

The Board meeting officially commenced at 02:30 P.M. and concluded at 10:00 P.M.
