This appointment was approved based on an office order issued by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, dated February 4, 2026. The appointment was formally ratified during the 489th Board Meeting held on the same date as the announcement, 12.02.2026.
Profile of the New Director
Shri Jatinderjit Singh Mann is approximately 52 years old. He holds a degree in electronics & communications engineering from the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (1994-98). His professional career includes serving as AGM (Marketing/Consultancy) & head of RDSS- J & K at NTPC Ltd, where he focused on commercial and developmental initiatives.
Furthering his qualifications, he completed an MBA (Finance) from Punjabi University, Patiala (2020-2022), before his recent elevation to Director (Marketing) at MMTC Limited. Crucially, Shri Mann has confirmed that he is not related to any existing directors of the company and is not debarred from assuming the role by any regulatory authority.
