This consent relates specifically to the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.

The primary purpose of this authorization is to permit an expansion in the operational capacity of the Gare Palma IV/7 Coal Mine, also known as the Karwahi Open Cast Coal Mine.
