Shipping Corporation of India Declares Interim Dividend & Approves Strong Q3 Results

The Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has announced a ₹3.5 per share interim dividend. This decision was made during a board meeting held on February 6, 2026. The Board also approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q3, reflecting a profit before tax of ₹426.93 million and ₹426.93 million respectively.

Financial Performance Highlights

SCI’s Board of Directors has reviewed and approved the unaudited financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. Key highlights include:

  • Total Revenue from operations: ₹1611.67 million (Standalone), ₹1611.67 million (Consolidated).

  • Profit/(Loss) before tax: ₹414.97 million (Standalone), ₹426.93 million (Consolidated).

Interim Dividend Announcement

The Board has declared an interim dividend of ₹3.5 per equity share. The record date for determining shareholders’ eligibility for the dividend is fixed as February 17, 2026. The dividend payout is estimated to be approximately ₹163.03 million.

Segment-Wise Performance

The segment-wise revenue breakdown is as follows:

  • Liner: ₹205.81 million (Q3 2026 Standalone)

  • Bulk Carrier: ₹237.51 million (Q3 2026 Standalone)

  • Tanker: ₹1096.91 million (Q3 2026 Standalone)

  • Technical & Offshore: ₹79.36 million (Q3 2026 Standalone)

Strategic Disinvestment Update

The strategic disinvestment process continues to be managed by the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM). The Virtual Data Room remains open for due diligence by qualified interested parties. The company is also progressing on the demerger scheme approved by the MCA.
