Financial Performance
Global Health reported total income of INR 11,428 million for Q3 FY2026, a 19.1% increase compared to INR 9,595 million in Q3 FY25. EBITDA ex-Noida was INR 2,814 million, up 10.9% year-over-year, with a margin of 25.4%. Reported EBITDA was INR 2,494 million, with a margin of 21.8%. The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at INR 950 million.
Operational Highlights
The company saw strong growth in patient footfalls, with in-patient count up by 14.3% and out-patient count up by 19.5% year-over-year. Occupied bed days increased by 6.8% to 154,917. ARPOB improved by 9.9% to INR 67,361. During the quarter, 144 beds were added, including 42 in Patna and 102 in Noida. Medanta Noida commenced operations in Q3 FY26 and generated revenue of INR 343 million but reported an EBITDA loss of INR 320 million.
Expansion Plans
Medanta is progressing with its expansion plans, including new hospitals in Delhi, Mumbai, and Guwahati. A 750-bed super specialty hospital is planned for Pitampura, New Delhi, and a 400-bed hospital in South Delhi. The company is also setting up a 750+ bedded super-specialty hospital in Oshiwara, Mumbai, and a 400+ bedded hospital in Guwahati.
Capex and Future Outlook
Medanta plans to invest over INR 39,013 million in capital expenditure over the next five years. This includes investments in new hospitals, a medical school, and a guest house. The company aims to maintain its focus on patient-centric care and clinical leadership while expanding its network and capabilities.
