Tata Power has appointed BSR & Co. LLP as its statutory auditors for a term of five years, effective from the conclusion of the 108th Annual General Meeting (AGM) until the conclusion of the 113th AGM. This appointment is subject to the approval of the members. BSR & Co. LLP replaces SRBC & CO. LLP, which will complete its second term at the conclusion of the upcoming 108th AGM.
Appointment of New Statutory Auditors
The Board of Directors of Tata Power has approved the appointment of BSR & Co. LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the new Statutory Auditors. The decision was made based on the recommendation of the Audit Committee of Directors.
Auditor Tenure and Transition
BSR & Co. LLP‘s term will span five years, commencing from the conclusion of the 108th Annual General Meeting and lasting until the conclusion of the 113th Annual General Meeting. This appointment is contingent upon member approval.
SRBC & CO. LLP will continue to serve as the Statutory Auditors until the conclusion of the 108th Annual General Meeting, marking the end of their second term.
