Engineering

The engineering segment reported revenue of Rs. 1,438 Cr compared to Rs. 1,212 Cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit before interest and tax for the quarter was Rs. 196 Cr as against Rs. 156 Cr.

Metal Formed Products

This segment’s revenue stood at Rs. 408 Cr compared to Rs. 400 Cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit before interest and tax for the quarter was Rs. 46 Cr as against Rs. 40 Cr.

Mobility

The mobility segment recorded revenue of Rs. 183 Cr compared to Rs. 142 Cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit before interest and tax was Rs. 4 Cr against a loss of Rs.0.8 Cr in the previous year.

Others

The ‘Others’ segment reported revenue of Rs. 214 Cr compared to Rs. 252 Cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit before interest and tax for the quarter was Rs. 19 Cr as against Rs. 11 Cr.

Consolidated Financials

The consolidated revenue for the quarter was Rs. 5,801 Cr as against Rs. 4,812 Cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The profit (before share of profit of an Associate/Joint Venture, Exceptional Items and Tax) for the quarter was at Rs. 502 Cr as against Rs. 427 Cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Subsidiary Performance

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd

Registered consolidated revenue of Rs. 3,175 Cr; Profit (before share of profit of an Associate/Joint Venture, Exceptional Items and Tax) was Rs. 420 Cr.

Shanthi Gears Ltd

Registered revenue of Rs. 117 Cr. Profit before exceptional items and tax was Rs. 23 Cr.
