Lloyds Metals Q3 & 9MFY26 Standalone Results Show Strong Growth

Lloyds Metals & Energy announced impressive standalone results for Q3 & 9MFY26. Total income surged by 129% YoY for Q3 and 59% YoY for 9MFY26. EBITDA margins also improved significantly, driven by higher value-added products and efficient operations. The company has commenced operations at its DRI expansion project.

Exceptional Quarterly Performance

Lloyds Metals & Energy reported a remarkable surge in total income for Q3FY26, reaching INR 38,750 million, a substantial 129% increase YoY. The 9MFY26 income also showed robust growth, totaling INR 88,588 million, representing a 59% increase YoY.

EBITDA Growth and Margin Expansion

The company’s EBITDA for Q3FY26 increased by 137% YoY, demonstrating enhanced profitability. EBITDA margins for Q3FY26 stood at 33.98%, reflecting a 123 bps increase YoY. For 9MFY26, the EBITDA margin reached 33.80%, which is 280 bps higher YoY.

Operational Highlights

Iron ore production for Q3 & 9MFY26 stood at 5.49mnt & 12.87mnt, with a YoY growth of 110% & 51% respectively. Pellet production for Q3 & 9MFY26 was 1.14mnt & 1.95mnt. The company has also commenced operations for its DRI expansion in Q3FY26. The company’s capex for 9MFY26 stood at INR 42,357 million.

Product-Wise Performance

The company has strategically shifted its product mix towards higher value-added products. For Q3FY26, Value added products contributed to 40% of the revenue and for 9MFY26 it was 35%.

TEIPL Performance

TEIPL’s (Thriveni Earthmovers and Infra Private Limited) total income for 9MFY26 reached INR 54,815 Mn, with an EBITDA of INR 10,791 Mn and an EBITDA Margin of 19.69%.

Tata Steel Strategic Collaboration

Lloyds Metals has signed an MoU with Tata Steel for strategic investment, pellet conversion, and long-term integration. The collaboration aims to promote sustainable and efficient growth in the domestic steel sector.

The company has outlined its production guidance for the upcoming years:

  • Iron Ore Production: 20-22MnT (FY26 Guidance), 25-26MnT (FY27 Guidance)
  • Pellet Production: 2.8-3MnT (FY26 Guidance), 6-8 MnT (FY27 Guidance)
