AWL Agri Business Q3 FY’26 Results – Revenue Up 10% YoY

AWL Agri Business reported a 10% YoY increase in revenue, reaching ₹18,603 Crore for Q3 FY’26. Volume grew by 3% YoY. EBITDA stood at ₹637 Crore, a 19% YoY decrease, while PAT reached ₹269 Crore, down 35% YoY. The decrease in profitability is attributed to one-off gains in the previous year. The company saw growth in key brands, with Fortune up 13% and Kohinoor up 32%.

AWL Agri Business reported the following consolidated financial results for Q3 FY’26:

  • EBITDA: ₹637 Crore (-19% YoY)
  • PAT: ₹269 Crore (-35% YoY)

The company attributes the dip in profitability to the absence of one-off gains that were present in the previous year’s base figures. Per MT margins were in line with management expectations.

The company experienced varied performance across its key segments:

  • Edible Oil: Revenue of ₹15,025 Cr (+12% YoY), PBT of ₹344 Cr (-41% YoY)
  • Food & FMCG: Revenue of ₹1,648 Cr (+6% YoY), PBT of ₹44 Cr (year-over-year not meaningful)
  • Industry Essentials: Revenue of ₹1,930 Cr (+1% YoY), PBT of ₹72 Cr (-12% YoY)

Brand Performance

Key brands showed strong performance during the quarter:

  • Fortune: Volume growth of 13% YoY
  • Kohinoor: Volume growth of 32% YoY
  • Kings: Volume growth of 7% YoY

Business Updates and Strategy

AWL is focusing on alternate channels, which continue to show robust growth. Alternate channels delivered strong volume growth of 42% YoY. The company is also seeing good performance in the HoReCa and Branded exports channels.

AWL is focused on gradually building a health and convenience-focused food portfolio, with new product launches like multi-grain Atta and a focus on products like Soya Nuggets, Biryani Kit, and Brown Rice.

Operational Metrics

Alternate channels (E-Com, Q-Com, MT) have grown by 42% YoY. The company has achieved a direct reach of over 9 Lac outlets and covers over 60,000 rural towns.
