Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has appointed Shri Nitin Khamesra as the new Director (Finance), effective from the date of assumption of charge. The appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. Khamesra will receive a pay scale of Rs. 1,80,000-3,40,000/- (IDA) for a term of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shri Nitin Khamesra has been appointed as the Director (Finance) at the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI). The decision was formalized following the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
Details of the Appointment
Khamesra, previously serving as Chief General Manager (CGM) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), will now oversee the financial strategies and operations at SCI. His tenure is set for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge, or until further notice.
Compensation
The pay scale for the Director (Finance) position is established at Rs. 1,80,000-3,40,000/- (IDA). The effective date of Khamesra’s appointment will be communicated in due course.
