POWERGRID Khavda II-C Transmission Project Successfully Commissioned

POWERGRID has announced the successful commissioning of the Khavda II-C Transmission Limited project. This initiative, secured through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding, involves an Inter-State Transmission System focused on evacuating 4.5GW of Renewable Energy (RE) injection at Khavda PS. The project, under Phase-II, Part C, became fully operational effective January 31, 2026, enhancing POWERGRID’s infrastructure for renewable energy transmission.
