The increase was primarily driven by containers, which grew by 16% YoY, liquids, which saw a 21% YoY increase, and dry cargo, which increased by 8% YoY.

For the year-to-date period up to January 2026, APSEZ handled 412.2 MMT of total cargo, which represents an 11% increase compared to the previous year. Container volumes were a significant driver of this growth, with an 18% increase year-over-year.
Logistics Rail Volume
Logistics rail volume during January 2026 stood at 59,308 TEUs, showing a 3% increase year-over-year. The GPWIS (General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme) volume was at 1.9 MMT, remaining flat year-over-year.
