NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced the commencement of commercial operation for the first part capacity of 210 MW out of the 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat, effective February 1, 2026. Following this addition, the NTPC Green Energy Group’s total installed capacity will increase from 8478.25 MW to 8688.25 MW, further strengthening its renewable energy portfolio.
Khavda-II Solar PV Project Update
NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced that the first part capacity of 210 MW from the 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project located in Gujarat is now commercially operational, effective 00:00 hrs on February 1, 2026.
Capacity Expansion
With the commencement of this project, the total installed capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group increases to 8688.25 MW, up from the previous 8478.25 MW. This highlights NTPC Green Energy’s continued growth and investment in renewable energy.
