Blue Star announced its financial results for the third quarter of FY26. Revenue grew by 4% to ₹2925 crore, while EBITDA increased by 5% to ₹221 crore. Profit before tax decreased by 2% to ₹165 crore. The company noted a one-time impact of ₹56 crore related to Gratuity and Leave Encashment due to new labor codes.
Financial Performance in Q3 FY26
Blue Star reported a revenue increase of 4%, reaching ₹2925 crore in Q3 FY26, compared to ₹2807 crore in Q3 FY25. The company’s EBITDA saw a 5% rise, amounting to ₹221 crore from ₹209 crore in the previous year. However, profit before tax experienced a slight decrease of 2%, settling at ₹165 crore, down from ₹167 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) stood at ₹3.92.
It is important to note that the results reflect a one-time impact of ₹56 crore due to the implementation of new Labour Codes and Guidance of ICAI concerning Gratuity and Leave Encashment.
9MFY26 Performance Highlights
For the nine-month period of FY26, Blue Star’s revenue increased by 5% to ₹8330 crore. EBITDA rose by 1% to ₹604 crore, and profit before tax decreased by 12% to ₹462 crore. Earnings per share for the period stood at ₹14.60.
Segment-Wise Performance
Electro-Mechanical Projects and Commercial Air Conditioning
This segment experienced revenue growth of 8.6%, reaching ₹1,696 crore. However, the EBIT margin contracted to 6.8% from 7.6%.
Unitary Products
Revenue in this segment decreased slightly by 0.9% to ₹1,154 crore, but the EBIT margin improved to 8.5% from 8.1%.
Professional Electronics and Industrial Systems
This segment saw a revenue decline of 7.1% to ₹75 crore. The EBIT margin improved to 9.1% from 7.7%.
ESG Initiatives
The company focuses on Eco-Conscious Product Innovation using energy-efficient designs and green refrigerants. It also implements Green Infrastructure initiatives, including IGBC-certified facilities. Blue Star promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace with 16.67% female representation on the Board.
