LT Foods Acquisition of Global Green Group Terminated

LT Foods has announced the termination of its proposed acquisition of the Global Green Group. The deal, which included Global Green Europe Kft., Greenhouse AGRAR Kft., and Global Green International (UK) Limited, will no longer proceed, and the proposed transaction has been withdrawn, effective January 28, 2026.

Acquisition Plan Abandoned

LT Foods has called off its plans to acquire the Global Green Group following regulatory hurdles. A decision dated January 28, 2026, from the Ministry of National Economy in Hungary has led to the termination of the deal.

Reason for Termination

The Ministry of National Economy, Hungary rejected the proposed acquisition due to identified risks related to national economic and sectoral stability. As a result, LT Foods has officially withdrawn from the transaction.

Original Acquisition Proposal

The proposed acquisition included Global Green Europe Kft., Greenhouse AGRAR Kft., and Global Green International (UK) Limited. The company had previously communicated its intention to acquire the group, but this plan has now been abandoned due to regulatory intervention.
