LT Foods Acquisition of Global Green Group Called Off

LT Foods has announced the withdrawal of its proposed acquisition of the Global Green Group. The decision comes after the Ministry of National Economy in Hungary rejected the acquisition on January 28, 2025. The rejection was based on identified national economic and sectoral risks. Consequently, LT Foods will no longer proceed with the transaction.

Acquisition Termination

LT Foods has announced that it will no longer proceed with the proposed acquisition of the “Global Green Group”. The company had previously planned to acquire Global Green Europe Kft., Greenhouse AGRAR Kft., and Global Green International (UK) Limited.

Reason for Withdrawal

The decision to withdraw follows a rejection from the Ministry of National Economy, Hungary, dated January 28, 2025. The Ministry cited identified national economic and sectoral risks as the grounds for rejecting the proposed acquisition. Therefore, the proposed transaction stands withdrawn and will not be taken forward.
