IndusInd Bank has appointed Ravi Pangal as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective January 28, 2026. Pangal will also be part of the Bank’s Senior Management Personnel. He brings extensive experience, including leadership roles at HSBC and Standard Chartered, and will be responsible for overseeing IndusInd’s technology strategies.

Ravi Pangal’s Background
Mr. Pangal holds an MCA in Computer Applications and a BSc in Mathematics & Statistics from Bharathiar University. Before joining IndusInd Bank, he served as Global CIO – Core Banking & Bangalore Centre Head at HSBC and held leadership positions at Standard Chartered (Scope International) as Centre Head Technology, and ANZ Bank as Technology Project Director, Head of Strategy/PMO/MIS. His experience also includes roles at Reuters, ICICI Infotech (Ajax Software), and Wipro Systems. He has extensive leadership experience in the technology sector.
